SAWASDEE from KING'S KID
January 6th, 2007

In April, King's Kids attended the BIG + HIB fair in Bangkok. It was a good experience as we had a new team of staff to join Arunee at the fair.

In June, Arunee has started "Lunch for Christ" for the staff here at AVGlory. She has invited team leaders from her church to come once a week during lunch time to share, talk, and teach our workers about different struggles and questions about life and also how to work better as a team for this company.

In June, Arunee went down to Singapore to help one of our vendors at the Motherhood Fair. She had a very nice visit and it was good to see how the people responded to our products in the Singaporean market.

In July, one of our Danish customers came to visit us. This was quite a treat for us as she could spend about two days with us. We were able to spend some time getting to know each other and improve our relationship.

We also had another customer visit us from Japan. She is a lady that we met at the BIG Fair in April. This lady is full of wonderful designs and has been a pleasure getting to know her and hope the relationship grows steadily.

August and September was quite hectic for us. Arunee had found out that she had a lump in her breast and would have to have surgery to remove it. We were also preparing for the Tendence Fair at the end of August and beginning September.

Arunee was able to go because her lump was diagnosed as benign. Praise the Lord! The Tendence Fair ended up being a real success and Arunee met some lovely customers there. It was a nice vacation for her after all the stress about her health.

Not even a week after Arunee returned, we had two guests from RBC to join our company for a few days. RBC has come out with a kid's version of "Our Daily Bread" called "SPARKS". They wanted to use our felt characters to make 3D pictures for their new project. It was crazily busy for 3 days straight, but I think we all learned a lot from that experience and especially teamwork in intense situations.

During the same time, three of our customers from England paid us a visit as well. It was very nice to spend the morning talking about new projects and lunch together at a Japanese restaurant just to relax and spend time.

Surgery

Arunee had two surgeries this past year to remove the lumps in her breast.
She had the surgery in Bangkok where Arunee has family to help take care of her. She stayed at her mom's house for recovery. Mom is in her 70's and she's still as strong as ever and took excellent care of her daughter. There's nothing like a mother's care! :

After the first surgery, the doctors found another lump that had to be removed as well. This surgery was scheduled for a month later during the BIG + HIB fair in Bangkok.

Arunee now is healthy and "lump free"! She has started taking yoga lessons to stay strong and healthy and to keep the stress level down. :

One fair after another in Bangkok

Once again, we attended BIG + HIB Fair in the middle of October. We took our new art team down with us to be able to experience and understand how fairs work in this business. It was very nice to see all our customers as they dropped by our booth.

- End of October - Mother and Care Fair

- November - Garden and Home Fair

- December - Made in Thailand Exhibition

We received a wonderful surprise at the Made in Thailand Exhibition. The King of Thailand's grandson paid us a visit at our booth and played with our products. He liked them so much that they bought many of our items.

Arunee's church had a special Christmas service that we took part in. Our staff had been practicing a song for a few weeks because the church had asked us to participate in the program. We gladly accepted. :

Our company is now officially registered with the Thai Standard Labor Laws!
The past two years we have gone through trainings and lectures on how to improve the quality of our workers. Not just to give them more benefits financially, but also to teach them to be more responsible, work orientated, more efficient and have fun and enjoy their work.

We had a four-day holiday for New Years. That was REALLY nice!

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS

For our new customers,
It has been a real pleasure getting to know each one of you through e-mails and some visits. As all new relationships go, whether business or friendship, there's bound to be a few bumps and bruises along the way until we both get to know one another well. We hope that you will bare with us and take the time to get to know our company and products. We hope that this next year will give us opportunities to learn more from each other and grow in our relationships!

For our old customers,
It has been great to do business with you. A lot of past problems have been solved; things seem to be going smoother. We thank you for your steady orders. We appreciate you for sticking with us through the rough times; the changes of discount terms, and the exchange rates!

COME ON OVER

We have really enjoyed those of you who have made the trip ALL the way out here to visit our factory and our staff members. We would like to keep the invitation open for ANY other customers to visit us. We will gladly accept and show you around.

UP COMING EVENTS

..

NEW CHANGES THAT WILL TAKE AFFECT THIS YEAR

We have noticed that a lot of time has been spent on finalizing Proforma Invoices. This has slowed down the ordering process a lot. So for future orders, we would like to ask that you be very clear and sure before you open your Purchase Orders. Any changes after the first PI issued, will have to be made within a week of receiving it and will also be charged $30.00 / 1,000.00 baht. If you are unsure of any information to help you place your order, you can write us and we will give you the necessary information.

We also would like to start asking you to please order full cartons of one item, assorted if you want. This will reduce the time for packing and makes it a lot easier for production as well. We no longer will accept assorted items for a carton.

As the exchange rates have become so unstable lately, and we have not revised our $ U.S. price list yet, we would like to ask all our customers if they could start paying in THB instead of Euros and USD.
